COURSE OUTLINE:

             

Dr Konstantina Theodoratou

Topics of Lectures:

1. The neuroscience of emotional pain and acupuncture.

2. The impact of acupuncture on well-being in chronic pain-matrix.

3. Workshop: Addiction medicine and acupuncture treatments.

 

Dr Theodoratou is a physician practising medical acupuncture. She specialises in

Medical Psychology at the University of Athens and

continues her studies in Addiction Counselling. Recently

she participated in research, concerning behaviour

patterns in relation to acupuncture at the Academy of

Athens Biomedical Institute. She is President of the

Scientific Association of Medical Acupuncture in Greece

(SAMAG) and President of the International Council of

Medical Acupuncture & Related Techniques (ICMART).
